Launch my Music Player Just me... mother of 10, domestic goddess, dreamer, chef...and the list goes on. Eclectic tastes. Wicked sense of humor. Little known facts about me: I am legally blind. I have lots of freckles in the summer but very few if any in the winter... I love to sing and can't carry a tune. I took accordion lessons as a child; and yes, I still own one. Have a soft spot for puppies and baby piglets... I work out to stay sane and keep in shape. *Poich, mio amicizia mio cuore Ÿ sempre qui *Life is moral responsibility. Life is several other things. It is beauty, it is joy, it is tragedy, it is comedy, it is psychical and physical pleasure; but it is steadily and sturdily and always moral responsibility. Don't stop living up to that. And.... *Never let doubt skew your perspective. * I want an incisive, inquisitive, insightful, irreverent mind. I want someone for whom philosophical discussion is foreplay. I want someone who sometimes makes me go ouch due to their wit and evil sense of humor. I want someone that I can reach out and touch randomly. I want someone I can cuddle with.

A letter of love to women...

The Sowing of Seeds...
We live in a society that makes it very hard for young girls and grown women to simply feel good about themselves.

Why is this? And just as importantly, why is this acceptable?

A majority of grown women walk around on a day-to-day basis thinking their thighs are too big, their hips too wide, and their breasts too small/big, their bums too flabby and their bellies too round.
Too big, wide and round for what exactly?
Comparing oneself to a celebrity, or model has become more rampant than ever.
Unfortunately it doesn't stop at girls and teens.
There is a deep disconnect between mind and body. A rift that happens from childhood, where the sensuality is broken between us and our bodies....
The damage caused by generations of ingrained beliefs about body image, and the inevitable constant self-comparison that comes with that, starts at a very early age.

Our girls grow up bombarded by toxic messages, and grow into women bombarded by toxic messages.

If women collectively fell in love with themselves, including the body that houses their spirit, the world would be a better place.
We need to live our lives intentionally with strength and use our intuition to live courageously. We need to appreciate our differences and our uniqueness and be aware of the realization of how our lives impact others and how our sense of self leads us daily.Accept yourself for what you are - learn your strengths and weaknesses and make the most of your positive attributes.

Be content with who you are and where you are in your life.
And realize... that no matter how solitary a life you decide to lead... you are a blessing to someone .
